Google Forms

In amongst all the hustle and bustle of uni I have also been working towards the development of this magazine. Scouting for artists and designers, craftspeople and writers hasn’t been the easiest of tasks. Within all of this I have begun initial interviews with a select few ‘featured artists’. These featured artists will have a feature length article in the magazine along with a video portrait that I’m forming the basis of in this class. I have created a ‘Google forms’ which allows me to share it with the creatives and receive all responses in one place.

This will act as the initial interview that the creative will receive before the filmed interview. This will allow them to slightly prepare but more importantly allow me to asses the kind of interview it will be. It will allow me to choose the questions I think will be interesting to delve deeper into and also inspire me to individualise the questions I ask on the day.

Beyond the fact that my uni course is actually allowing me to push forward my goals at a propelling pace, I find myself in somewhat of a muddled space. I have never associated any uni work with real life practice. My experience at RMIT keeps hitting me with surprises and It’s projects like these that really do give me the confidence to become a real media practitioner.
