In our first class for week 8, we looked at creating a schedule for ourselves for the rest of semester and thought about possible research questions.

From my brainstorming I created this schedule for myself, which is incredibly daunting, because there is so much I need to do in the next couple of weeks. However, I’m just going to do try to do as much as I can, without getting too stressed and without compromising the quality of my work.

My possible research questions are:

How can I best design and compose a sequence of frames for a short film?

How can I work within the limits of my role of DoP and create a short film I am proud of (even though a lot of the film production is out of my control)?

How can I create an interesting short film, in terms of cinematography/shot construction, paying particular attention to highlighting the background as well as the foreground of the frame?
