1. Thesis
Art Museum is a collection of works of art holy places, people are mind rest and thinking of the place. How to design a museum, how to make the greatest participation of visitors and immersed in the works of art, and get a good viewing experience, for the museum architects, is the need for in-depth thinking and answers. Art Gallery’s space design, lighting design, color design, and sound access, rest area and so many elements have become a key factor in the success of the museum. A fine art museum, not only to meet the artist’s demand for exhibits optimization, but also from the audience point of view in the exhibition hall to view the exhibition space experience, so that the audience and the artist through the works of art to achieve good exchange.
2. Location&Audience
Art Museum is an exhibition of art, usually a visual art building or space. Museums can be public or private, but the difference for museums is the ownership of the collection. Painting is the most common artwork, however, also regularly show sculptures, decorative arts, furniture, textiles, clothing, paintings, pastels, watercolors, collages, prints, artist books, photographs and installation art. Although it is mainly to provide space for the display of visual arts works, art galleries are sometimes used to host other artistic activities such as performing arts, concerts or poetry reading.
The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, located in the Federation Square of Melbourne, is a famous local art gallery, unlike the National Gallery of Victoria, which is located not far from the south of the Yara river, The Ian Potter Centre is free of charge for outdoor exhibitions. Therefore, the visitors here are more diverse than NGV, both children and the elderly, the artist or the general public, age span, aesthetic ability and crowd attributes are more extensive coverage. People through the art museum to visit art, watching, listening, feeling, and even effective interaction, and artists to achieve the exchange and the thinking of the arts. Therefore, the design of a museum can bring the audience in a variety of sensory appropriate stimulation, immersive experience in the environment and atmosphere is a crucial issue.

4. Analyze art galleries in different ways
4.1 Light
“There is nothing better than a beautiful artwork,” says Richard Mishaan, an AD100 designer, “adding artwork to his project,” adding artwork into the room. “Beautiful art makes the home Everything gets better. And, of course, good lighting enhances this effect.
However, when lighting art, there is no one way to fit all the methods – and there are several potential pitfalls. Lighting designer Doug Russell said: “The biggest question is whether you want to directly illuminate works of art, or put photos in a bright room.”
Soft lights, warm color, or hanging on the ceiling, or hidden in a hidden position, even according to the canvas or works of art. The visual senses are awakened, giving a sense of comfort and serenity. Each lamp position, brightness, angle, size, can be seen is carefully arranged, is a conscious design, the experience of immersion designed to be on-radar.
4.2 Layout
In most of the exhibition halls, the audience only along a unique route can be all the works in turn read the works of the layout design is very clever. Will focus or large pieces of exhibits on the open in the middle of the exhibition hall, the visual effect is very strong. In the exhibition hall on the second floor of the exhibition hall, the wall is designed to extend from the left and right, the audience once through four or five snake-like lines can read all the works on the wall, walking in front and behind People are isolated from each other, will not affect each other, and retain the front of the mystery. The curiosity of the audience is completely evoked, which is a very unique and clever exhibition hall design.
4.3 Colour
Most of the exhibition walls are white, but there are some walls with different colors. Such as the display of the natural scenery of the wall using the dark green, set off the painting of the bright and angry; a group of thick wooden frame with a pale yellow wall, so that the whole wall looks more harmonious; a chaotic color painting used Brown wall, making it more uniform. It is difficult to determine whether this is intended to design, but in the visual to achieve a very good effect.
4.4 Sound
In the quiet corner, the three displays are animated, with three headphones hanging on the headphones, earning a rhythm and music with a change in the picture, a person completely immersed in this small world, visual hearing Have been a strong stimulus, which is clearly better than the sound outside the experience, whether for listening to music or in the next quiet look at the painting.
5. Conclusions
In general, the design of this exhibition is more successful, the audience can be carefully designed in the layout, in the right light and color, the focus of appreciation of art, wholeheartedly into this immersion state. If this can improve, add some rest area is a good choice. If the audience can sit in the exhibition hall full of works to sit down to enjoy, perhaps there will be more energy to think, get more insights.
The design of the art gallery not only affects the visual perception of visitors and customers, but also can be viewed in space, and may even affect the economic achievements of the gallery. For example, if a region of the gallery is not light enough or is at the end of the corridor corridor, the artwork placed there may not always be seen and is therefore unlikely to be sold. According to the original space that must be used, intended to show the variety of art and want to gallery the role of projection, design art gallery.
The art gallery has the responsibility to guide and help the audience understand the works shown as a platform for presenting works of art. The use of special layout will attract attention, unusual wall color will give people freshness, and for conveying important information works should be placed in a prominent position, difficult to understand, too abstract works are written to help the audience Bring in. All of this, for the audience to have a better immersion experience, in the art of the temple to enjoy soaring.
