Also transfixed with the potpourri idea – very evocative and specific wording that points you towards the right direction. Now to start collecting material! How does one even start and sort out?! Although being given an estimated word count does make the essays feel less overwhelming as well as Rachel’s explicit encouragement of the exploratory nature of the essays rather than being very academic/analytic focused.
