Oooh I love it. Bear with me, I have to analyse this (part of my participation contract).
I love the colours – how the red of the ceiling and the walls (I think they’re walls…) come through clear liquid in the glass, making the drink look as if it has a top part of clear liquid and a lower part of red liquid. And how the glass/water/ice makes it look strangely out of focus where it should be in focus. It looks so good. I think the framing of this made it particularly powerful – the ECU of the glass and the angle where we’re at eye-level with the line of liquid that’s going down. Very, very, very nice. And a creative interpretation of the brief.
