The Blogs Of Others… (Again)

Despite only doing this less than 24 hours ago, I am now being made to do it again… so here are some posts by others that are interesting to me. Because why not, I suppose!*

First there’s Nethaniel’s post about the idea of starting school later, or recording lectures to watch at home or through Skype at better suited times for the student. Everyone has different times at which they work to their best capacity, and so I like this post for its truthfulness in this regard, as well as the link to a reading/study which further delves into his topic.

Secondly, this post by Amy explores the idea of network literacy and how someone might tell whether or not a source is credible or not, as well as the relevance of print literacy in today’s society.

And lastly, there’s this post by Sam. It’s a review of the film Mysterious Skin (2004) and a discussion in anticipation of the film White Bird in a Blizzard, a work by the same director, Gregg Araki. There is also a really good edit to grab you in right at the start… Also I like the movie, so I guess that’s why it’s on this list.

Yeah.

*Actually because Betty is making me, but you know. Same thing.
