W1:EVE ARNOLD INSPIRED MINI-ESSAY- “LOVE THE WORLD, LOVE YOURSELF”

Since the COVID-19, due to the lockdown of the city and the suspension of airline operations, I have been living in China after the New Year of 2020, and I cannot go to Australia to continue to attend school. At the beginning of the worst of COVID-19, I chose to gap for half a year. This decision is to be responsible to myself, to my family, and to others. Half a year later, I started to learn online classes at home. This is a brand-new class mode that I haven’t tried before. It also tests my ability to learn independently.

Until the holiday in July 2021, COVID-19 continued to be stable in China. I hadn’t been traveling for a long time then I travel on the journey to Changsha with my friend.

After COVID-19 stabilized, many people came out to enjoy the restored lively and vibrant scenery. This is at the foot of a mountain. Not far away is a stone ladder connected by 999 steps. It sounds like a difficult thing, but there are still many people who challenge it.

The two poems engraved on the opposite left side mean “Don’t say that the mountain is too high, and you can’t go up and stop.” I think this poem will make some people think.

This cinema is built in a shopping mall, but because of COVID-19, there are still very few people watching movies, and because the movie has been in theaters for a few days, I think. This no one situation is still very rare, at least not before COVID-19.

At night, there are still many people in front of the restaurant. People on the street come and go, press the shutter to record this lost and recovered moment.

Even if COVID-19 begins to improve, cannot relax your vigilance and always wear a mask to protect yourself and others.

COVID-19 has taken away many lives and caused a lot of inconvenience. However, there are very few vehicles and crowds, reducing carbon dioxide pollution, the sky is bluer, the woods are denser, and the air is much cleaner. More time to consider whether this is good or bad?
