This week the focus of our group has been to work on composing a list of people we wish to interview for our first show. We sent all of our ideas and their descriptions off to RRR, and were excited to see that we got much more positive feedback then we were expecting.
We discussed each of the ideas we had, and the ones that she said yes to directly. This has formed the basis of our work for the week. Our producers from there then emailed those that we believed would suit being on our program the most and asked whether they would be up for coming into the studio and completing an interview live on air, or being recorded for playback on the show.
As with a lot of things, we did not receive responses back from every person, which meant that we had to start branching out and asking different people for interviews. Thankfully, we now have a short list of different people that are willing to be interviewed in different formats for our first live to air show.
The focus of the coming week will be to create a solid plan for our first show. Thanks to my very prepared group, we have our interviewees all locked in, and we have already begun work on our run sheet for the show, as well as song lists and interview questions.
I am very happy with the groups current position, and cannot wait to see how we progress coming into the first show,
