First week of Uni has been an insane week of meeting new people and teachers, taking in all forms of information from how to use ‘Blackboard’ and ‘Google Drive’ to running around the campus getting lost in a labyrinth of construction work and brand new buildings. Overall, I’ve had fun and although my brain feels like a Kindergarten child after their first week of ‘big’ school I’m excited for my course and Media 1.
In the workshop this week (after another ‘ice-breaker game) we all set up our blogs for the course. Now I have my own blog/ publication which I designed on ‘Square Space’, it was easy to use and had a lot of help options if you ever got stuck so navigating this site has been trickier than I thought but I have managed to inject some form of personality into my blog. I hope it gives my tutors and peers and insight into my style, aesthetic and thoughts.
I’m also looking forward to learning how to edit properly on the Adobe tools. Right now Google Drive is stressing me out/ scaring me the most! Let’s see how it goes…
