Synopsis

A lonesome Ben is craving love but can’t seem to find it so he uses this new dating app called ‘dream maker’ to try and find the love of his life. The app allows Ben to choose specific features he likes in a girl such as their eye colour, personality traits and even their Astrological sign. What ben doesn’t know is that this app is extremely advanced literally brining the girl ‘of his dreams’ to his door step. As weeks go by Ben starts to think that this is too good to be true and realizes that the girl is actually artificial intelligence.

This weeks class was all about establishing a science fiction storyline that relates to an everyday issue and forming it into a script. This was difficult as writing scripts isn’t really my strong point however this activity was really good practice at writing and forming ideas. My idea of the storyline began from social media and dating apps. They play a big role into todays society, everyone is constantly on social media and specific dating apps showing us  the rise of technology and its major influence within society. Due to constant advancements with technology soon society will no longer be able to do things themselves. That is also how the idea of  artificial intelligence came a long, as we could be living in a future were artificial intelligence is the norm.
