Some thoughts after readings this article.
“Often it would be advantageous to be able to snap the camera and to look at the picture
immediately.” – Vannevar Bush
Vannevar Bush wrote this in 1945. Thirty years later, Steve Sasson invented what is considered to be the first digital camera ever made. I find the unwitting propheticalness of this sentence fascinating… Little did Bush know that, relatively soon enough, it would be entirely possible to snap the camera and look at the picture immediately.
It certainly makes me realise how much I take modern technology for granted.
