This is the fourth year of #SocialShorts, which showcases the work of Australia’s talented short filmmakers. The competition will run for three weeks across three categories – Comedy, Drama and Open – with each category owning the spotlight for a week. Audiences can vote for their favourite short films in each category and are encouraged to share their favourites across social media. The winning film for each category announced at the start of the following week.

Those who vote also have the chance to win a double pass to the 7th AACTA Awards presented by Foxtel, including flights and accommodation.

It may be of interest to you that we have a number of short films from Victoria competing in the comedy category this year:

  • DEEP STORAGE
  • DEEPEST SYMPATHY
  • DYING FOR A LAUGH
  • MESSIAH
  • MOONMAN
  • SO THIS IS IT THEN!
  • SPILL
  • THE UNCOMFORTABLY SEXY RULES OF TRUCO

We greatly appreciate any promotion you are able to do, and if you would like any further information or marketing assets, please don’t hesitate to contact me. For further info on #SocialShorts and to watch and vote for the films, visitwww.socialshorts.com.au.
