After the two shoot days, all we had left was to get in the post-production process and simultaneously get started on preparing our presentations for Friday. Myself and Brooke started editing whilst the remainder of our media group began to compile and structure our presentation. Going through the footage, the lack of attention to detail including eye line shots, ensuring all shots were in focus, had been overlooked in some parts. Overall the sequences we shot from Anthony’s original script weren’t totally disastrous but left alot to be desired. After editing the sequences, we rejoined the remainder of the group and discussed Friday’s presentations and allocated new crew roles for our final production; that we all agreed we would lock in and not stray from like we had done in the test shoot. We also arranged dates for pre-production, casting, rehearsals and shooting. Giving ourselves a time frame will hopefully eliminate the disorganisation we experienced in test shooting as well. The pilot is also missing crucial elements like titles and music, so thats another element we want to include into our actual production. There was also a lack of aesthetic (i.e no props or colour co-ordination to set a vibe for the series) I want there to be a very distinct aethetic and style in terms of the mis-en-scene in our webseries so that’s something we will pay attention to in pre-production.
