This week Robbie is away so we were left to fend for ourselves. We spent most of the time in today’s class discussing our positions in our production roles for the exhibitions. I’m in the tech team, however, at the moment I am feeling like there’s not all that much I can help with. Jordan seems to have the editing help covered as he demonstrated today – super helpful! He’s running us through a tutorial tomorrow at Signal on how to edit our clips to the sequence frame to fit the windows. I think I will help to gather the final products off everyone and also some of the technical aspects of the RMIT exhibition alongside Jac.

Our main discussion revolved around the editing process and timing of sequences etc. as many of us have still just been trying to get our heads around that. The other main topic seemed to be where people were at with their work. I haven’t even filmed yet, and like I said, have yet to be of assistance in the tech department. Others such as Siobhan and Nicolette have been pretty consistent in their roles and have shared plans, calendars and information sheets in the Google drive for us to refer to when we’re stuck or confused about what’s happening – this has also been really useful to organising my time accordingly.
