Social Media for 2nd RWAV Show – 26th of May

As part of our teams 2nd RWAV show, my role is to manage social media. This includes both the programs twitter page and the website. At the moment, I am still unsure as to how to properly use the website, so will be posting into it later.

Currently I am using the Twitter to garner hype around our show on the 29th of May.

The use of a hashtag is something I have requested all group members to do. That way, each and every one of our tweets can be collated into an easy to use system.

Currently, until I am able to use the website to make posts, I will not be able to link information about those that we are interviewing.

It’s frustrating that the website is so difficult to navigate and use, as I would have enjoyed more freedom in what I am able to post and how I can structure it.
My main goal in the next day is to be able to link long form information about whats coming up on the show via our Twitter. The rest of the twitter will be used for the listing of songs, and small info and messages before, during and after the program.
This is definitely a role that can seem insignificant, so my goal is to make it a key factor in the overall program.
