We have come to a decision to replace Jim to someone else because the boom pole to represent the lightsaber was not the best idea. With the limited time we have on our hands, I have to search for images however, instead of re-shooting. I found an image of a guy with a camera and I thought it fits perfectly for this. With a little bit of change of ‘perspective’ in photoshop, we get a good blend. Add some shadows to it and viola. I thought it looks good.
But all is not done without the guests! Since the poster is to look like an actual movie poster, we need names. Thankfully we manage to get our third guest’s reply in time. We were panicking back then as this is one week before our seminar starts. Names were included on top of the poster and all is well.
I’m not a fan of my own work, the outcome of the poster but I thought I could have more room for improvement. But I still like it. I guess it was the effort that counts. There were more than 20 layers in this image, excluding Lightroom adjustments.
The final touch was to import the image into Lightroom to have some exposure, vibrance, and shadow adjustments as well as adding flares on the moon. One moon has a warmer yellowish flare while the other has a cooler, blue flare.
