Reflection
Firstly, I would like to congratulate myself for producing my first ever works on Photoshop. It has given me a much larger appreciation for people who can work it so effortlessly and end up with flawless works of art. Whilst I am now glad to have the general skills, I will not be searching to spend extensive hours as it’s slave. Thanks Photoshop, till a possible next time.
Now, I think that taking the 7 Natural Wonders as our base was a great start. It also gave us the ability to conquer and divide task wise, plus there was much scope to put our own flare (dramatic, humorous, realistic) on our wonders. The positive of our approach is that our focus is well known and can reach and resonate a wide audience. On the negative side, I don’t believe that what we have created evokes a strong emotional response that often leads people to take action. It also doesn’t call for any certain action to take place, making it a bit ‘fluffy’ in a way.
In future I would like to work on a sketch that tackles a more refined and specific issue, like the 1.5 degrees or petitioning the government.
