While outside of school, yes… I have life outside of school. I became more conscious and aware while I watch movies now to see if I can notice how short or long a shot is in films today. And while watching the movie Snatch the director ‘Guy Ritchie’ primarily used quick cuts and fast paced shots meaning shots were short. By doing this I felt the movie was much more engaging and entertaining, for example in this fight scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG_Nwp0wZc0 I lost count of all the different shots because there were so many cuts..( by the way, this scene is one of my favorites from the movie ).  

That is why I like movies with short shots rather than longs shots unless.. the long shot is done on purpose to convey or highlight a implicit/explicit message to the audience. Other then that I feel movies in this day and age are smart enough to not show every little detail in one shot and can cut it down into multiple shots so the viewers don’t get bored.
