Synopsis

Tristan swipe right on what appears to be the ideal match, but his Tinder relationship soon descends into a labyrinth of extortion and deceit. His “dream girl” is revealed to be a 43 years old man posing as someone else as a charming conversation devolves into a private video call. Tristan is forced to confront the perilous world of internet extortion as the imposter demands $10,000 Australian dollars in return for keeping incriminating photographs quiet. CATFISHED is a five-minutes documentary that examines the dangers of online relationships.
