Machine Future by Jesse, Adrian and Shaun
The sound future starts with a character named Steven walking through an overly crowded futuristic city. While travelling Steven walks into a building and has a chat with his Artificial intelligence (AI) friend. After finishing his drink Steven continues walking through various doors that contain different environments such as construction sites, rain and stairs as he walks towards his studio. While arriving at his studio he proceeds down a set of stairs leading into his room where he chats with a second AI named Bot who assists Steven in finding unique sounds to create a musical composition.
This project gave insight into how an AI-driven world could shape how humanity interacts with them in the future. As a collective group we understand there are plenty of complexities and many benefits with how and what we do with AI in the coming future. Creating this sound future lets us hear what it could be like if the world was primarily being written and run by AI and if humans depend on it for their sustainability and way of life.
