“HELP” (2023)

After receiving his long-awaited VR glasses, Jack find somethings wired is happening. The visual world seems be haunted by something, and it gradually invade his reality life. Everything implies the glasses and the secret behind it……

The story of this film is actually inspired by a classic ghost story, the project not only can show the techniques and ideas about XR techniques that we learned from class but also can make a horror film with those elements.

The combination of modern technological elements is bold and unusual in the horror film genre. This is often said to spoil the horrors of the unknown. But we think that focusing on the technology around us, the most common element in people’s lives, will be the structure and use of the horror genre itself. And it will definitely create a more interesting experience for the audience.

In the filming processing, we found a lot of our own deficiencies, like low efficiency and unsatisfactory quality. But at the same time, this project gave us a deeper understanding of the process from planning to actual shooting, and exercised our various skills.
