The point of view shot has become an essential technique used digital media to further immerse the audience. In collaboration with ACMI, this fun micro-video essay explores the history of the POV shot travelling back in time to some early examples of when it was first used. In addition to discussing its significance and cross-referencing in film and video games.

We hope our collective work engages and educates the viewer in a number of ways. Through virtue of our personalised, unique and humorous touch as well as a variety of examples that a variety of people can recognise. This video was a joy to create together and has made a large contribution to our developing filmmaking skills.
