On April 20th, 2021, Bronte, Holly, Lachie & Eliza hosted an hour long show on Triple R 102.7, on ‘Room With A View’.

We interviewed three people. Emma Race, a female sports broadcaster, Co-Founder of organisation ‘Making the Call’. A program that aims to have more female voices present in sports broadcasting. Jacob Martin from the local Melbourne band ‘CLAIM’, discussing CLAIM’s upcoming single and EP release, as well as a sneak peak of the song! As well as Susan Pryor, a breast cancer survivor who was so kind, as to share her brave and challenging story with us.

Now we’re going to be listening to a great discussion about the significance of Indigenous arts and culture in Australia today.

The Yirramboi Festival in Melbourne has been happening over the last few weeks. We’ll be hearing from three Indigenous artists, two of whom participated in the festival; musician Maddie Colville-Walker, dancer Aroha Pehi and singer-songwriter Scott Darlow. 

They’ll be talking about the role the arts play in their everyday life and how they each individually connect to their culture.

Throughout creating these pieces, as a group, we worked co-operatively together. We felt lucky to have been a group that really got along well together to produce the best pieces of work we could. We encountered new experiences such as conducting the interview with Scott Darlow at Bird’s Basement – gave us an idea of what it’s really like in the media industry. As well as ways to properly conduct interviews to get the best sound quality possible and what to do in the future to ensure this.
