With over 50 years of experience in the Architectural industry, Bruce Allen is no stranger to a hard hat and yellow trace paper. Upon completion of his masters in business administration at Western University in 1975, little did he know that he would be running a successful architecture firm in the heart of his hometown, Melbourne. Bruce is just one of the 13,228 registered architects in Australia, however, this documentary will shed light on the intricacies of the industry from the perspective of the one individual. Throughout the years, Bruce has seen it all, and he loves to share the ins and outs of architecture and the trials and tribulations that ensue. Beyond the Scaffolding is a documentary that explores the ever changing architectural industry and its place within Melbourne, Victoria.
