“The Eyes” explores the effects of losing a relationship during a coronavirus pandemic and its aftermath through a failed relationship, exploring through sound and visuals how the character falls into a melancholic emotional rut. Through his eyes, he conveys this undeliverable sadness and feeling that he sees.
The experimental film was shot on a Sony DCR-SR60 and supplemented by royalty-free music from YouTube and video footage from Pexels.
During the making of  “The Eyes”, I learned to use Logic Pro to mix my music to change the original sound to fit the visuals. It was also the first time I had shot and produced an experimental short film and I learnt more about experimental film editing techniques in the process.
