A foolish error on the library’s part,

“The Library Debacle” is a short film produced by a team comprising Callum Prior, Clodagh Craig and Sapphira Rolfe. In the midst of lockdown, Esme struggles with her friend Eduardo and his inattentiveness. The work is based on Robin Plunkett’s “Ex 4 Esme & Eduardo” and was shot on both iPhone and DSLR cameras.

Throughout Designing Drama, we in groups explored the many technical roles that come in creating media such as director, actor, camera operator, editor and sound engineer. By doing this we learnt how these roles all collaborate and create narrative cinema. The ability to experiment consistently with roles both familiar and unfamiliar allowed growth overall as media practitioners and push us to always grow and learn further.
