MIFF & The Capitol: One Minute Documentary Series / A History of Cinema at the Capitol Theatre

Our group produced a suite of media works detailing the history of MIFF and The Capitol, as told by those closest to it. We had the pleasure of interviewing MIFF-featured director Isabel Peppard; Capitol Operations Coordinator Darren Brown; MIFF Volunteer Rebecca Maasaka; MIFF Technical Manager Chris Elliot and RMIT Venues Manager Marc Morel on their experiences with MIFF and the Capitol, extending on what these two establishments mean to the people of Melbourne.

The media-making process strengthened all of our collaborative working skills. We all kept each other up-to-date with our projects and created a suite of works we are ultimately very proud to share with everyone. Enjoy!
