This poem was written by me (Sunny El-Assaad), it touches base around the word No and is centred around sexual assault.

Directors statement:

I wanted to create a film around the word No in-regards to sexual assault. The images and videos are very experimental and demonstrate a sense of understanding to victims of assault. I decided to use sound motifs as well as metaphors for the film. This was followed with a voice-over featuring the poem being read out and overlay sound to demonstrate a powerful statement. What I got out of this film was a sense of recognition for victims as well as for perpetrators to realise its not ok and people will continue to fight for what’s right.
