The Difference in the Car Chase Scene

In this research project, my purpose is to study some of the same and different points in different car chase scenes. I mainly did the research about the different locations of the scene settings, such as the difference in the car chase scene between the city and the road. For example, in the city, cars are often crash everything. And on the road, cars  are often drive in a “straight line.” Next, I mentioned how the equipment for the car chase scene is different due to technological advancement. Then, I did research on the commonly used perspectives in the car. Due to the limited space in the car, there are usually a few perspectives when shooting in-car scenes. While studying common perspectives, I also analyzed the chasing scene of the classic film “Bullitt”. Through some investigations, I can better understand why the director will choose some specific angles to shoot in the car, such as what kind of feeling will it bring to the audience, or what kind of scenes will be selected for some specific shots.

At the same time, I studied how to ensure the safety of the staff and how to ensure that it paid off after paying a great price. One thing I don’t know about ensuring security is that it’s important to make detailed arrangements for scripts. And the car chase scene shows a particularly important position in some action movies. After the compact plot, chasing the car scene can instantaneously detonate the climax of the entire movie, pushing the audience’s emotions to a whole new level.

In general, this research is a good opportunity for me to explore what I am interested in, and it may also lay the foundation for future “practical activities”.
