What did I get out of this project?

This studio gave me the opportunity to think purposefully about how texts can creatively be used for education. The ACMI project taught me how to be creative within strict parameters, which was a valuable experience. It was helpful to understand what I could expect when I join the ‘real-world’ creative industry. I learnt about an element of cinema that was previously foreign to me. By learning enough about the MacGuffin to present an educational video about the topic, it has given me the ability to explain what a MacGuffin is with confidence. Finally, I learnt how to collaborate with and learn from my peers, engaging in group feedback sessions helped me to see other perspectives and strengthen my project.
