fhermary aims to invoke empathy and solidarity from the audience to help them grasp the struggle that millions of people face daily within Australia. It calls the audience to support the people around them and to create positive change by volunteering with organisations to assist young migrants and multicultural events to promote unity.

fhermary was inspired by Shola Amoo’s film ‘The Last Tree,’ a coming of age film following the protagonist Femi as he navigates his way through adolescence in a place he never truly found belonging.
