This film recorded the normal life of sanitation worker, and how did them deal with the garbage. Meanwhile, through these people’s behaviour and hard work, try to call for people’s actions about classified garbage.

Motivation: The reason to choose this topic, only because i felt its close to human life and much easier to improve this situation than any other environment issue. Through these days, I watched many documentaries about garbage, that never think of the how much serious about plastic and pollution influenced animal’s life. Moreover, in nowadays, even though this society have high technology to deal with garbage, but still many workers in China have to live in disaster garbage villages to sorting garbage for living. Therefor, want to make a documentary and call for awareness through small events in order to protecting the environment.

Prompt: When I think of how to make this documentary at the beginning was planed to use archival footages and narrated a film about overall environment situation and explained what is recyclable, what is non-recyclable. More like an educational documentary. However, when I met the sanitation worker, I found it is a good perspective for me to create. Instead of talking big things on the screen, the normal event which people always ignored in their life would touch people have highly possibility. Put audience at the third perspective, also can engage audience for their watching experience, more likely to raise empathy and attract contemplation through watching.
