Solo artist’s statement
About my solo work, I develop my previous solo work in both assignment1 and assignment2. I intend to make my solo work be suitable for different ages’ people playing. It is a music game and people can play the piano follow the pictures of music score I gave, or they also can create their music. Visual changing of the music has two types. Users can play the piano and see the changing movement of cylinder or line. And they also can choose a sound they like and see how it changes. In this work, also meet some challenges about how to link the movement of cylinder with the piano playing. And I found that it can be wok if I change the channel playing. Otherwise, I hope that I can develop the movement of the cylinder with music playing and make it better for people observing.
Group artist’ statement
The name of our group work is “Ball Bounce Game”, it is a scoring game which needs to control the movement of the pad to receive and bounce the balls fall down from the upper side. And we also set up a countdown beside the game which gains the atmosphere of the game. Considering the theme, we intended to do a sustained game. This “ball bounce game” is actually hard to be controlled and users may try again and again. The highest score was 750 and that is not easy for them to achieve because you have to start from the beginning again if you miss the balls. When doing this game, we studied a lot about the object ‘Icd’, like how to let balls fall from the upper side or how to let the balls bounce. This work is really challengeable and fortunately we make it work. Anyway, we hope every user enjoy this game.
