In an age dominated by digital technology, Artificial Shadow explores themes of the real and the virtual, and self representation in a digital world. By the use of a live person in dialogue with technological components; such as organic footage, filters, and digitally created environments, the video installation brings together the past and present, the real and artificial. Do we humanize the technology or is the technology digitizing us?

Are we, society, defined by media?
