Assessment 4 was a much shorter assignment, but still lots of fun. Assessment 4 required students to break into small groups, or work individually, to create another short, experimental documentary. Again, the documentary was required to be a social critique or raise a political demand. Experimenting was still a requirement, with students choosing 3 of the following restraints to create their work:
- no interviews
- no voice-over
- only found footage or other appropriated material
- is non-photorealistic
- or deliberately breaks some other identifiable documentary convention (which had to be articulated directly)
