As you’ll all know, Melbourne WebFest Director Steinar Ellingsen will be joining us during this session to talk about pitching. Please arrive early as it is a great privilege to have his time and experience.
Before and after that, there is plenty more to do!
In this session we’ll get each production group to present a table read of their script, so have a discussion within your group about how you want to approach this before the class. Some of you were doing this already, so you should be ready to go.
After that, we’ll have a quick intro to lighting. To prepare, take a look at this Lighting Prezi created be Andrea Rassell (for the Masters Program). We won’t be using C-Stands, but all of the basic principals will apply for us.

With groups formed and concept development underway, we need to turn our attention to getting Ready to Shoot (part of PB4) and the Pitch & Proposal content (PB3). From next week onward, you’ll need to get your casting underway.
Thanks Oliver & Daleen for the Week 4 Update.
This workshop will be for camera testing – it’s a good chance for you group to get hands-on with some gear, and while it’s important that you have some time to experiment, we want to follow a bit of structure to get the most out of it.
Thanks to Amber and Sam for the Week 3 update.
