Process for Applying for Extensions

In most instances you will need to apply no later than one working day before the due date.
We’re unable to override this process (ie. grant extensions at our own discretion), so while you should also let your tutor know when to expect your submission, it’s vital you abide by the protocol.

Media – Week 1 Lectorial
As the ‘thinking’ time, our lectorials will be loosely structured, shaped week to week, and will generally revolve around discussing pertinent questions. At the end of each session, we will aim to come up with a question to investigate for the rest of the week, and revisit it in the next lectorial.
Stewart Lee ‘On Not Writing’
In this studio, I want to create a distinction between the web series and standup as forms of comedic expression. This is primarily because I don’t want us to approach a comedy web series as simply just a platform to groom comedic talent (for example, Andy Samberg), and instead explore its potential as a form for storytelling.
