While I would argue that this is not a very well written text (in the sense that in trying to explain part of Pride and Prejudice’s plot, even as someone who knows the story almost back to front, I totally lost track of what point was being conveyed), it made some interesting arguments about how genre and gender are intertwined. It touched briefly on how an audience will read a situation in regard to rhythm and emotion depending on what is contained within the frame and how it is put together. However this is not explained very well and I would like to read further on this link.
