  1. Brandt compares the editing theory of Rudolf Arnheim, Baldzs, Vsevolod Pudovkin and Sergei Eisenstein. In Anaheim editing world, he don like use continuity editing, because he think continuity editing make film looks more like reality, this was the goal of modern film, however, he want to displace the reality. As a result, he prefers to use jump cut, and unmatched actions. Through this way, audience can out of the reality and get more creation. Baldzs think editing is a mechanical process. He really like to use close up, he think it is wider the version of life, deepening it too. Vsevolod Pudovkin is different with Bazin, breaking up a long shot for him is a proper form. Sergei Eisenstein, a famous and important theorist of montage, his theory is totally different with the realistic filmmaking idea of Bazin and Munsterberg. He believes through editing, the construction of raw materials of film creating the own sense.
