am so glad to have discovered how powerful this medium can be. Before this studio I don’t think I’d ever even heard a radio doc before. I had spent the last couple of years trying to work out how I’m going to get involved with cumbersome and expensive process of television and film productions, but after being exposed to how intimate and innovative radio is, I’m not sure I can go back. I’ve become obsessed with this new form and the creative freedom you have working with sound. The power it has to evoke a mood or a sense of place and it’s ability to stir the listener’s imagination, shaping fantasies and fictions that change the world around us.
