Lego stop motion

There is a link that lego stop motion I made https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6l8R_Hcr_4.

Stop motion, also known as stop frame, is an animation technique to make physically object appear to move on its own.

lego screen grab

Firstly, I wrote a story outline.  I need to have an idea of what I want to do. It is a hero story. Speaking why I choose this topic because I admire those people who brave to fight for free. The last world at the ending of Brave heart is Freedom. After having a main storyline, I started to prepare technical stuff- two cameras, tropicals and a computer. 13 motions in one second. And also got the object( the main character) I want to work with.

The most important for me was to find a place to shoot that has plenty of space and light. It takes time but worth because a good shooting place is the very basic element for a successful production.

light is essential as well, but avoid using sunlight. Please!!!! because sunlight is always changing as the sun moves, and so it will change while creating shot. It takes several hours to create a scene that only lasts a few seconds on screen. In those few seconds the sunlight will change dramatically. So plan on using lamps.

The difficult thing need to fix is sound recording. I can not record a clear main sound without background noisy without professional recorder. It may affect quality of the production, noisy makes me feel uncomfortable.

I really enjoy doing this video. So I decided to know something about stop motion. Start with the history, it has a long history in film and often used to show object moving as if by magic. The first instance of the stop motion technique can be used in ‘The Humpty Dumpty Circus(1897)stop motion

Iphone tracks wherever you go— online information leakage

what is the difference between Journal and Blog in spite of they have the same sorts of benefits allow???

Compared with Journal, Blog could be a public documentthe. Anyone could read others blog as long as under internet service covered. It is narrow the physical disstance among the oublic.

just clicking, after one second, the artical we posted in our blog can spread all world.

on the one hand, it narrows the distance among the world. On the other hand, personal information leakage is in a high risk. Hacker or any one who has some professional skills can attack personal computer and stole Blog or other platforms passwords to use personal information getting money, like resident address, education background, even netbank account.

how can we protect our information from leakage in this high tech age has been debatable.Iphone frequent locations

Apple company can track Iphone users’ location through a softwire installed in Iphone, which has arise the public unstasfied. however, Apple company claimed this app is for protecting  Iphone users personal security in case lost by accidently. However, an information technology professior said Apple company can use those location data to analyse one’s residential address, working information, age. gender and so on, more than imagination.
Are people tracking where you go by Iphone frequent location!!!!!!

1.2 Blog & Weibo

Blogs was populer in China a few years before. I remember the rise of blog was related a famous atress in China because she ofter posted her  feelings and her fans follow. Then, the public gradually notice the power of blog. The content posted on blog spread fast.

Blog makes anyone could be a publisher and let other viewer follow. It was new thing in China because china has a very serious censorship in speeking ten years ago. Blog offered a new way for the public to get useful information.

But in recent years, people prefer using Weibo instead of Blog in China. what is the difference between Blog and Weibo. Both of them have the same sorts of benefits allow.

Blog is not only can be using as class education tool, but also has influence in our daily life. Yao chen, who has more follower on social media than anyone else in China- or, notably, anyone else on the

planet, set that line out to her therity-one million fans on Weibo, the microblogging site, as a show of support Sichun earthquake in 2008,  and got more donation by through blog spreading.

All in all, writing a  blog and checking comments have become a habits for the most people, the first thing to do after opening eyes on every morning.

Reading Reflection

Adrian in “Blogs in Media Education: A Begining” says blog plays an important role in media education because it may relavent to professional practise as a teacher or as a classroom tool. She has used blogs on a subject by subject basis with university students since 2002. After then, the use of blog has emphasised and explored what is ‘peculiar’ to blog. It breaks the boundrey of writing, also makes contribution to teaching and learning.

Adrian also gives an introduction to blog. ” what is a blog” I have the same question. A blog is a web based publication. it is traditionally consists of entries of verying length that are published in reverse chronological order so that the most recent entry appears first. Blog is a kind of online diary, writing daily experience down and sharing to others. All posts are automatically archived by date, and it is also common to apply categories to individual entries. It is easy to find the artical which you are looking for by searching the key word. Blogs, like journals, allow a record to be maintained of ideas, reflections, activities, things to be done, and so on.

High technology makes people’s life more convinent. Most blogs also support optional comments, where readers can leave notes attached to individual posts.

Content Mangement System(CMS) lets a blogger become a publisher. The article I posted could be viewed by people all over the world as long as under internet covered. Although we may don’t know each other, blog indeed narrow the physical disstance, getting individual into different groups depends on interest, country, religion and so on, and then community becomes.

Arian presents there are a host of reasins why blogs maybe useful in teaching. therefore it takes time to learn how to blog.

As a media students, it is need to develop a range of literacies around internet and digital technologies.

Can Women be Great Leaders?

Mary II have watched a  documentary  this week. It is about Mrs Thatcher.

Compared with Men, can women be great leaders?

The common view is women are inherently good. They are morally superior and don’t hurt people. I do not believe that. There have been women political leaders throughout history, like their male counterparts. Some were good leaders, others were not. People think women possess a special DNA that makes them ‘good people’, but good is related to personality, not gender.

What those famous women political leaders did. Mary I, known as Bloody Mary (16th century), burned thousands of religious dissenters at the stake and waged war in Ireland and France. Margaret Thatcher, known as the Iron Lady (20th century), launched the Falk land war, contributed to the cold war, build-up nuclear weapons in Europe and bombed Libya.

someone says” women in politics equal trouble”. I believe it. Although more and more developed countries are being hold by women leaders. For example, Park Geun-hye is the eleventh and current president of South korea and Angela Merkel was chancellor of Germany. I think it has related to the movement of women rights because women leaders could represent
women leaders
the leavel of a country’s democracy development. however, those women political leaders are still anomalies in a man’s world. Most women often work more than man, yet are paid less; gender discrimination affects girls and women throughout their lifetime, and women and girls often suffer the most poverty, especially in the developing country. women who want to win in the man’s world need to be acting and thinking like men.

Men always think women have delicate looks and weak hearts or need to care. but what they do not know is that behind the delicate masks, these soft women could wield a sword and throw a punch better than the best-trained soldiers. In a long time, women were mentally and materially controlled by male oriented society. they know clearly what the weakness men have. While men do not. Empress Dowager CiXI, just as Emperor’s concubine when 16 and became the powerful woman in China because she knew how to grab the Emperor’s attention and how to use Emperior’s trust to achieve her own goles.

we can not say whether women could be great leaders or not. it is hard for women to get in the top than men, which means women have to suffer more difficult on the way to sucussed. we are not sure about it because all this things are behind in a soft appearence.

copyright Law

Copyright law protects the book authors’ rights. It provides the framework that enables publishers to control content, which in turn enables them to make money by selling books. So …… it is important for those publishers to learn how to understand and avoid infringing copyrights.

The first step is to obtain rights from authors. Publishers need to get permission before using other’s work. The second step for publishers is to protect the copyrights they control.

Compared with American copyright law, Australian copyrights law has created specific exceptions to the parallel importation right, like the polo/Lauren V Zilianl Litigation logo case. There are two different results in America and Australia.

The Australian government looks set to overhcopyright.aul the country’s copyright laws with a view to force internet service providers to begin cracking down on users who download TV shows and films.

However,  does copyright law block cultural interaction in a degree?? What if  you find a  useful video which can be strong evidence back you up for your latest research, you want to cut a clip and use it in your own media production but you can not find the owner of the video then you have to give it up because of serious copyright law. I did a case study about transgender in Thailand last semester. For adding more details in our presentation, I found a video showing how transgender people struggle for living. It matches our topic but duration is 20 minutes. I want to cut some clips. Then I emailed the people who uploaded the video but did not get any reply. Then I have to give it up because I can not cut and present it without any permission.

Copyright indeed protects author’s right. But it should depend on deferent conditions. If it used for teaching, not for commercial use,  should get permission easily or maybe no permission applied.
