I’m sitting on the train on my way home from class, and to be completely honest I feel exhausted and a little bit confused (and that’s not just because class started at 8.30am).The class consisted of writing HTML code for next week’s assessment, however it proved challenging for me as I have never done anything similar, and struggled to keep up with everyone in the class. Coming from print Journalism and Public relations experience, I felt overwhelmed both with the concept of HTML and with the task itself. Having left the class with completed codes, I feel much less relief than I expected I would, as I still feel that the requirements for next week’s task remain ambiguous. Must we re-do the entire task in the exam next week, or simply re-load the material already made into Fetch? Or is it simply a matter of turning up next week? In the words of our friend, JD Salinger, “It’s funny. All you have to do is say something nobody understands and they’ll do practically anything you want them to” and trust me, I will do ANYTHING if somebody explains to me what the devil is going down?
So someone please help a sister out??
