Alrighty Networked Media, getting into the thick of it by basically discussing our fave dog instagrams and facebook memes. Already amazing. Legitimately learned of some new internet hits I have to check out. Of course there is more to this class though.

This first class of ‘NetMed’ saw us starting up WordPress blogs for the class and also our personal interests. However almost immediately setting up an account, okay, after customising a whole blog site, I decided just to localise all of my blogging to this here page on Media Factory. Because running multiple blogs may be all too much at this time. From this though, I kinda know how to use WordPress, but Media Factory is home. I even spruced up my ‘home’ a bit for this new year of university by changing themes and customising some things here and there.

But now, some initial thoughts about the remaining workshops, lectures and readings of NetMed.. So far I feel as though the first few weeks of the course are very similar to that of Media 1, setting up a blog, how to customise a blog, speaking on blogging’s importance, etc etc. Looking forward to the rest of semester nonetheless looks quite interesting thought as it  focuses on much more broader aspects of the internet and networked media ~ obvs.
