This week’s workshop involved lots and lots of brain-scratching and wrinkling. But more so, brainstorming. And we did this the best way we knew how: butchers paper and textas – loved it.
As a group, we’re working together really nicely and functionally (winna) and getting closer to having a complete grasp on both the premise for PB#4 (which by the way is taking form in a podcast), and its overall content. We spoke a lot about the history of the Medium Theory and the workings of Canadian intellect, Marshall McLuhan – who coined the notion that ‘the medium is the message’. This sticking very nicely to our mind-palaces we saw the forming of both loose and tight trains of thought that could eventuate into segments in our podcast.
This exercise of brainstorming and getting all of our individual thoughts united together onto one piece of paper, I think really signifies our group’s coming together as a team. Throughout the process of this mind-mapping, we were all able to speak freely, honestly and excitedly, which I think set us up for a positive group dynamic in our future workings together. Overall, I think we have moved another step closer towards the production of PB#4. For now though, check out our mind-boggling mind-map (photo courtesy of Dan).
