brothers

I have four brothers and let me tell you boys well they can do your head in. Having to share a bathroom with four boys ranging from 15 to 23 is not only a workout its a mission. I have grown up being taught the exact same morals and simple cleaning methods, such as cleaning up after your self but I just don’t understand no matter how often these boys get told this they never learn.

Let me start with the mirror. A mirror is something your suppose to see your reflection in, while our mirror is something the boys manage to spit tooth paste all over so your reflection is nearly impossible to see.
I don’t know why we have a towel rack in the bathroom as for some reason the boys believe that they belong wet on the floor where they somehow will dry (but never do)
My number one pet hate would have to be the toilet!! I wouldn’t be able to recall the amount of times the boys have been told since toilet training to put the seat down but still they don’t. I have even had a few times when I’ve woken up nearly half asleep going to the toilet and nearly fallen in it as the boys leave the seat up, not a pretty sight.
My brothers really live by the motto ‘if its brown flush it down and if its yellow let it mellow’, which i know is good thing for the environment and saves a bit of money, but when they boys have hardly drunken any water and all leave a number 1 in the toilet to sit I walk in getting smacked in the face by the beautiful pungent smell my brothers kindly left me…
The last toilet habit which i will never understand is how boys dont realise you need to refill the toilet paper when it runs out, or even more annoying they leave all the empty toilet rolls in the toilet to i can only presume see how many they can keep until I get clean them up for them.

As much as I love my brothers there are a few habits which I’ll never be able to accept but I guess the real question is, why did my parents make me share a bathroom and toilet with four boys???
