I tend to gravitate to the absurd and ridiculous.

I grew up on a diet of classic rock and British comedy. Through my early teens I was a heavy metal elitist. This was when I learnt how to wear black band T-shirts and look indifferent. Then I discovered my love for cinema through films such as Blade Runner, Pulp Fiction & Snatch. I continue to seek out new films, directors and styles, consuming as many films as I can. My guilty pleasure is Australian genre films. I’m not saying I don’t like thoughtful Australian dramas; I’m just really into post apocalyptic desert films with pathetic attempts at gore. On the odd occasion I dabble in comedy, essentially to try and become Alexi Sayle or give Howard Moon an ally in Jazz appreciation. In recent times my taste for film, music and comedy has continued to expand and I wish to keep hunting for more honest (or just generally entertaining) art.
