From Ideation to Implementation

As we approach the pointy end of our our timeline for this semester we finally move from the somewhat nebulous phase of ideation to the practical protoyping of Implementation.

After many brainstorming and strategy exercises and meetings, trying to flesh out some creative ideas we’ve decided on a social media campaign centered around a series of videos which will aspire to present the universality of the idea of home featuring audio from interviews with past clients of the ASHP, Lentara Employees, ASHP Volunteers, ASHP Donors, and general public.

We refined a list of shots through a process of developing a secondary mood board to direct the brainstorming and decisions about locations and B-Roll shots to accompany the interviews. This process helped solidify our concept. Starting with a series of XCU shots and working through to wider EST/LS we would compare similar elements within various homes to show some universal themes or experiences of home, relate-able physical touch points of family, memory, safety, security, comfort. To the audio of the interviews, which will ask what home is, we will be building a picture of home as more than a house, built with experience and human nature as much as bricks and mortar.
