Story Lab – Project additional backstory

THE MAN

The Man is an East Asian male in his late twenties or early thirties that is always seen in a black raincoat and trousers, white shirt, and black neck tie. First sighted in 1945 during the ACP 31 incident he has been known to appear near to certain ACP objects, however his relation with those items is not yet known. He is extremely dangerous and operatives are advised to avoid this person at all cost.

THE CHURCH OF THE BROKEN GOD

This organisation poses a significant threat towards the ACP. All operatives and members are advised to treat members of this group with extreme caution. Church members have repeatedly attacked ACP personal on many occasions such as the ACP 131 incident and the FELLHAMMER facility.

The organisation is believed to be thousands of years old and operates with extreme secrecy internationally. The ACP has little to no knowledge of the organisation’s command structure or capabilities. The only knowledge of the organisation was provided by one source, Ezekiel, a member of the Church that was captured during the ACP 131 incident.

The organisation poses huge military capabilities and reach as evidenced by the attack on the FELLHAMMER facility.

The organisation worships a deity known as the ‘Broken God’, a godlike being that was cut apart into pieces that were then scattered throughout Earth. The organisation believes that certain ACP object such as ACP 131 and ACP 135 are parts of this ‘Broken God’ and wish to reunite these pieces to resurrect it.

P RD – PARANORMAL RESEARCH DIVISION

Established in early 1935 by direct decree of J. V. Stalin the P RD conducted experiments into paranormal and anomalous activities within the USSR. This was done in order to counteract anomalous threats from the SS, Ahnenerbe, and the Vatican, and to capture and study anomalous artifacts both home and abroad for the benefit of the Soviet government. Division “P” has carried on with this role throughout the Cold War, making ACP operations within Communist bloc countries difficult. After 1991, rapid restructuring, coupled with budget cuts and the decommissioning or sale of significant assets, resulted in numerous defections of their personnel.
