Seth picked up on feminist connotations in our vines last week which was sort of unintended but we’ve decided to go along with it from now on because its an important issue for us and also a refreshing source of inspiration as we’d sort of been feeling a bit redundant in our work lately. Our focus is still on how to effectively use dialectical montage in Vine but with the object of creating feminist messages. We are also moving away from Kuleshov Effect as we feel as though we’ve made enough videos recreating it (the image above is not even all the videos) so that we can focus purely on the juxtaposition of two shots and use the techniques and element we’ve found effective up until now.
