  1. My passion for photography and capturing a moment in life that will be still in time forever led me to collect old and new cameras, this image represents how i am often seeing the world through a lens and the beauty of stealing a moment in time to hold forever
  2. These old photographs are a collection of images my parents took in their youth, during their travels and the time they shared before my sister and i entered the world; i feel a very strong connection to these photographs as they share a life i wish to live and experience myself. There is a purity to the images that i think comes from using a film camera; the pictures are not digitally enhanced to every inch of their life – they have been taken at a point in time with seemingly no effort other than to simply take a picture. This collection ( and many more) truly inspired my passion for photography and film (documenting life and the world we are blessed to live in).
  3. As a kid i loved to read and read and read, i still love nothing more than a good book where i can escape and become the characters in the pages and this image is just a few of the old and new books that i have lost myself in for hours and hours
  4. Since i was little i can remember travelling to a land of sun, surf and eternal blue skies. The people were kind, music floated through every doorway and there was no care in the world, this beautiful paradise has been my second home for as long as i have lived. The final image i have chosen to use is of my most recent trip to Byron Bay, the sun was out to play and the water was truly alive – once again the ocean is significant in the way that i identify myself therefore this image is essential as it is a place i have been fortunate enough to call home for just a little while every year of my life
